In May, we officially opened our online shop with an exhibition at Brighton Dome. A brand new digital venture for Creative Future, we invested a good 18 months in getting the shop up and running, ready to showcase to the general public – and we couldn’t be prouder!
Our shop sells high quality limited edition art prints by our super talented emerging artists. The site is carefully curated and features a wide variety of styles and mediums, so there’s plenty to choose from. All the artists we work with experience barriers in accessing the mainstream art world for various reasons, including mental health issues, disability, health, identity or other social circumstance.
The launch night was a huge success and drew in a crowd, particularly as it was featured in the Brighton Festival this year. There was a real buzz on the night and we’ve since had lots of really positive feedback on the site itself and the incredible artistic talent we’re showcasing. We’re chuffed to bits!
A huge thank you to all who supported us with the launch, including Brighton Dome & Festival and our print partners Tin Dogs.
Here’s a lovely video of the launch event from our friend Lisa Fulthorpe, who kindly donated her time and skills to make it.
