More Culture, Less Medicine Conference takes place online from Monday 23 November – Thursday 26 November 2020.
Creative Future is part of The Hera Partnership. Alongside the other partners; The Robin Hood Health Foundation, Diversity and Ability & The Old Market, we will be presenting ‘The Big Vision’ – creating a shared vision for Brighton and Hove on Wednesday 25 November.
Despite rapid advances in healthcare we are living more years with health conditions – and can’t treat our way out of this crisis. There is a growing base of evidence that the arts can have a positive impact on health and wellbeing at all stages of life.
This conference explores some of the developments within this field, hears from some key people involved in researching & delivering opportunities, and also gives attendees the chance to take part in some of the innovative arts practice on offer.
The conference will take the form of a series of bite-sized morning sessions, 10 am – 12 pm every day, via zoom.
Each event will include cross-sector speakers and presentations, showcasing diverse and high-quality practice, and open discussion.
The sessions are FREE to book via Eventbrite links below.
Each day will be themed, as follows:
