The Creative Future Writers’ Award (CFWA), New Writing South (NWS) and Preston Park Recovery Centre (PPRC) are offering a unique development opportunity for a talented, emerging under-represented writer who is interested in working with vulnerable adults and/or in a social care setting.
We are accepting applications from talented under-represented poets or fiction writers. The residency will be twenty-two half days between April–October 2019 at Preston Park Recovery Centre in Brighton, and paid as a flat rate of £2,000. It offers time and space to write, the chance to work with vulnerable adults and support to develop your career.
This residency is aimed at emerging/mid-career writers with some track record of publication/a professional writing career.
Applications must be received no later than midnight on Sunday 3rd March 2019.
The chosen writer in residence will be announced in April.
