Sussex Recovery College Drama Workshop – Eastbourne

This workshop uses drama games, creativity and play to empower and help express yourself. All are welcome whatever level of experience or ability. Participants will experiment with different drama games, learn to look at things in a creative way, learn and practise different methods for expressing oneself. This course is for anyone who would like to use creativity to improve their mood.masks-807346_1280

Tutor: Niamh Hicks is an experienced Drama and Movement Workshop Facilitator (www.niamhhicks.co.uk ) and has a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts and Dance, and completed her MA in Dance: Independent Research. Niamh’s passion is for site specific and outdoor live art; she runs her own arts company creating work in this field (www.inlightand.com) Niamh is also Creative Future’s Executive Administrator & Communications Co-ordinator.

Peer Trainer: Niall Drennan has collaborated on a film about homelessness in Brighton https://youtu.be/DUvz4O2XBXg and currently runs a script writing group at the Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project. He’s performed spoken word around Brighton and has had short stories published locally.
