Sussex Recovery College Art Workshop – Bognor Regis

Engaging in creative activity can lighten your mood, help express blocked feelings, and enable you to access a state of ‘creative flow’ which calms the mind and gives you time out from difficult thoughts and feelings. These courses include a series of fun exercises experimenting with different art techniques (drawing, collage, etc.). Learn to look at things in a creative way different methods for expressing oneself. Anyone experiencing mental health challenges can register to attend a Recovery College. All are welcome, whatever level of experience or ability, who would like to use creativity to improve their mood.IMG_9524

Tutor: Nadia Chalk studied at Worthing and Epsom art colleges and worked for an Italian fashion design company before becoming a successful freelance artist and illustrator. She also co-runs Creative Waves, a not-for-profit company, which works on larger scale projects bringing art to the wider community. For more info see

Peer Trainer: Maria Kuipers regularly exhibits her paintings and has won prizes from the Georgia Museum of Art and for her West Pier Art project. She is an experienced facilitator and speaker. For more info see
