Social Media for Writers – Brighton

Learn the basics of social media for writers. Get yourself seen on Twitter and Facebook, learn to post on Instagram, and access the websites that can publish your flash fiction. Make contact with other writers. This workshop is aimed at beginners to social media.

Please note: You MUST have a general understanding of computers to attend this workshop (if you are unsure if you are suitable for the course please contact the tutor via Creative Future).  Please ensure you have an email account set up and access to your emails on the day.

Tutor: Erinna Mettler’s first novel, Starlings (2011), was described by one critic as doing for Brighton what The Wire did for Baltimore. She is a founder and co-director of The Brighton Prize for short fiction and of the spoken word group Rattle Tales. Her stories have been published internationally and short-listed for the Manchester Fiction Prize, The Bristol Prize, The Fish Prize and The Writers & Artists Yearbook Award. Erinna’s new short story collection on the theme of fame, Fifteen Minutes, will be published by crowd-funding publisher Unbound in 2017.
