Reading & Performing Your Work – Brighton

Reading and performing your own work can be a daunting challenge. Learn to access your audience in another way and reduce your anxiety of public reading.  Get your work off the page and into their ears! Run by an experienced performance mentor with an actor on hand to demonstrate how it should be done, this workshop will give you the confidence to deliver your work in public.

Tutors: Sara Clifford is a playwright, drama practitioner, trainer and lecturer. She currently lectures at the Central School of Speech and Drama and has been a trainer for Creative Partnerships. She has written over 20 plays which have been performed at Soho Theatre, York Theatre Royal and Nottingham Playhouse.  For more information see www.saraclifford.com

Mark Wilson is a published playwright with work for both the stage and BBC Radio 4. He is also a theatre director and a qualified coach working in schools and universities on confidence building and the creation of effective teams.
