Pitch Perfect

A practical toolkit to make agents and publishers sit up and take notice – with author & CFLA Project Manager Laura Wilkinson

You’ve spent months, maybe years, writing your novel, drafting and re-drafting till it shine, shine, shines. Your work is ready to submit to agents and publishers. But how do you ensure that your submission doesn’t languish on the talent pile?

This practical session will look at what agents and publishers expect to see in a submission package, how to write a powerful covering letter, including that all-important hook, approaching the dreaded synopsis, and how to survive the process.
