We’re offering online video workshops via Zoom with our 2020 Writer In Residence, Akila Richards.

We’ll provide a short guide on getting started with Zoom to all participants, but it’s very easy to use. Six weekly sessions will be offered for poets and six for prose writers.

Please book on only one course to reserve spaces for others.

Prose

In-session exercises on character development, writing engaging dialogue, the short story arc and structure. Explore the use of language and dialects and creating a consistent world in speculative fiction. The last session will include extract readings of your new or revised work.

Wednesdays, 2-4pm on the following dates:

• 10 June
