Developing Confidence : Creative Coaching – Brighton

Drawing on a mix of discussion, creative exercises and reflection, this workshop is designed to develop the tools and strategies to see us through situations where we may not feel confident – from reading out loud to meetings to interviews.

By the time we leave we will have:

  • A shared understanding of how stressful situations make us feel and act
  • Understood how this is impacting on how we present ourselves
  • Developed confidence in our ‘voice’ and what we want to say
  • Practised using our strategies in different situations in a safe environment.

Tutors: Sara Clifford is a playwright, drama practitioner, trainer and lecturer. She currently lectures at the Central School of Speech and Drama and has been a trainer for Creative Partnerships. She has written over 30 plays which have been performed at Soho Theatre, York Theatre Royal and Nottingham Playhouse.  For more information see
