Creative Future is looking for new Trustees as we move into our 20th year.
Could you help us amplify and support underrepresented writers and artists?
Creative Future, based in Brighton, works nationally and is one of the UK’s leading organisations in championing underrepresented creative people and increasing diversity in the arts and culture.
Our main focus is developing underrepresented writers through our annual Writers’ Award national competition and development programme, our Writers in Residence programme and our more locally Creative Health strand working with underrepresented artists across all art forms.
We are also committed to ensuring and maintaining representation on our Board of Trustees and warmly encourage people who identify as underrepresented to apply.
We are looking for two or three new volunteer Trustees with experience in one of the following: finance, income generation, human resources, the local creative sector, community engagement, charity governance or adult learning to help raise our profile, shape strategy, strengthen governance, and grow our impact.
In return, you would be helping make a real impact for diverse communities of writers, artists and communities, as well as developing professionally and building your own networks.
If you’re passionate about literature, creative health and the arts and want to help make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
