If you are looking for where to source funding for artists, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation have produced a comprehensive list of places that fund visual arts activities.

The website was created to provide a portal for information on funding opportunities for individual artists. As such, it relies on information from readers to remain up to date. If something is missing or needs updating, you can let the foundation know via a link at the bottom of each page.

The Arts Council also provide a list of sources where you can access funding for artists, aside from their main grants for the arts scheme.

The British Council is also another good place to start when searching for places that offer funding for artists and opportunities for visual artists.  They list a number of arts opportunities on their website, which you can access here

Grantspace provide an overview of funding information and resources available to artists on their website. They have selected resources specifically geared to visual artists, such as painters, sculptors and photographers. View the Grantspace website here

SPACE run a variety of initiatives designed to support and promote artists, including funded residencies, bursaries and free professional development programmes for artists.
