Creative Health Workshop - Cloth & Memory Workshop: Reclaiming the Ritual of Shroud Making
Friday 6 February 13:00-16.30 at Community Base, Brighton
Led by textile artist and shroud maker Dagmara Rudkin (Sacred Wings) and Visual Artist and creative Flourish participant Wendy Pye, this intimate workshop invites participants to explore the resonance of cloth and textiles in their lives, deepening their connection to its personal significance and its link to the ancient ritual of shrouding.
Through conversation and hands-on work with textiles of personal meaning, the workshop provides space for remembrance, connection, and gentle dialogue about death, alongside reflection on alternative personal choices, within a compassionate, supportive group.
