Creative Future’s mission is to increase access and reduce barriers for underrepresented artists and writers. All our workshop leaders are from underrepresented backgrounds with lived experience.
We encourage everyone to tell us support we can put in place to ensure you can take part. The more and sooner we know, the better we can accommodate any needs.
- Event and workshop listings show what support is already available.
- All our work is free or as low cost as possible.
- Carers do not require additional tickets.
- We can provide British Sign Language interpretation, but need one month’s notice.

Online Sessions
- We send you the Zoom link seven days before, via email.
- We Send the Zoom link again on the day of the workshop.
- All sessions have captions enabled, but you need to turn these on yourself in Zoom.
- You can turn your camera off.
- You can take breaks when you need to.
Face to Face Events
- All venues are accessible.
- All venues near accessible transport.
- A schedule of events will be provided.
- Quiet spaces will be available at large events.
- You can take breaks when you need to.
- Staff are available to help.
Materials
- We will send any reading seven days in advance.
- We use easy-to-read fonts.
- We use off-white backgrounds.
- We can make large print versions or provide coloured paper, on request.
Website and social media
- Pictures have descriptions.
- Videos have subtitles.
- We use simple, clear language.
- Our e-books work with screen readers and text-to-speech readers.
- Our e-books are compatible with all e-book readers which have adjustable settings.
