CFLA PNG logoIn the run up to the 2015 Literary Awards, we’ve been working close with the Sussex Community Internet Project (SCIP)  to create a new visual identity and website for the Literary Awards. SCIP are a fantastic Brighton-based organisation who provide IT services to the third sector in Sussex and surrounding parts of south east England. They also deliver a number of great community projects, including working with the Big Issue to provide internet access for homeless people.

We’re really excited about our brand new logo, which you may have seen already via twitter  or facebook.

We’re also excited about our brand new website ! We’re very proud of our new site, and really hope you like it. Mark James, the SCIP web developer who has been working on our new site, has been hard at work sourcing images to make the website look great. He says ‘Choosing images for the website has made me really think about the different ways people write. The first image that comes to mind is handwriting, but literature is created in so many different ways – typewriters, computers, tablets, phones, paper and recording are just a few.’

Not only does our website contain up-to-date information about the competition itself – there are also loads of resources for writers we’ve collected from all over including top tips, inspiration from great writers, and even the occasional bit of tongue-in-cheek fun. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or only just starting out on your journey as a writer, there’s plenty of information on our website to help you along the way. These resources are updated on a regular basis, so keep checking in.
