I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2014 but since December 2015 I have hearing loss and acquired bi-lateral hearing aids, this combined with my Fibromyalgia has proved difficult to keep to my career path and therefore had to give up my nursing causing severe depression and anxiety. I took up pottery in January 2016 and feel I have a knack for this medium and has become my new career which I can achieve with my disabilities so decided to open as The Duck Barn Artisan which you can follow on my Facebook page. My work at present is all hand built and designed by myself. I like making incense and tealight holders but will try and challenge myself with more sculptural art work mostly based on nature or mythology.
