I have been drawing since I was very young and have always done so. I started painting regularly from 1994 and I have continued to do so since then. My work is primarily painting, drawing and collage. I use a variety of media in my drawing and largely oil and acrylic in my painting. I am mostly interested in human faces, however in my collages I like to depict some form of narrative whilst also leaving them open to interpretation. Recently, I have become increasingly more interested in experimental drawing and painting. I would refer to my more recent paintings as “blind portraits” because I draw them with my eyes closed and afterwards add colour. I see my work as an ongoing experiment and adventure. I am excited about what I am doing.
