I grew up in Dublin and now live in London. Suffering severe depression since childhood, I wasn't interested in art, photography or anything at all really. It was only on admission to a psychiatric ward in my late 20's that I was introduced to creative activities. Since then, I have seen a great improvement in my quality of life due to photography(and music). It was only through photography that I first noticed the wonderful colours and amazing details all around us, and that's what I try to celebrate in my photos.
