I began painting five years ago after reading 'The Artist's Way' by Julia Cameron, as a way of encouraging creativity while having a long term illness. Art has become a big part of my new and has given me a new purpose and direction. I find myself inspired by pattern, shape, colour and landscapes that I love- the west or Ireland, Australia, the sea and the Downs.
