After the break down of a 13 year relationship in Eastbourne, I found myself in 1998 in Brighton. My circumstances were such that I was homeless and ill. I was found a room in a hotel whilst I waited for a place at the YMCA. After 18 months I moved into more permanent housing with a flat from Sanctuary Housing. Since then I have joined various groups, including the Buckingham Road mental health group, and other groups to try to build up confidence in myself. I have found it quite difficult to focus my attention on creative design.
