Jacqui Beere

I loved drawing and Art as a child and excelled in creative subjects at school. After school I studied a BTEC foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Somerset College of Art and Technology. In 1997 I obtained a BA (hons) degree in Humanities from the University of Glamorgan. I studied many creative arts modules as part of my degree, including life drawing, painting, creative writing and drama. My current passions are photography, poetry, drawing and painting. I particularly also enjoy making mixed media collages from found and recycled objects. I have works published in the Big Issue and I am currently participating in artist's Open Houses. I live in Brighton and rent a studio space on the seafront, over looking the beach.
