It was many years ago that I was street homeless but the memories are still with me. Cold and vivid. To be street homeless is to be in a dangerous, hostile, hungry, lonely, unhealthy place. Where you become invisible to the passing masses. Something less than human to a few who want to abuse and humiliate you.
