I have an experimental approach to art making, using a wide range of materials andtechniques, such as; water-colour, print-making, collage, assemblage, experimental mixed-media, digital and illustration processes. In my 2D work, I enjoy experimenting with repeat patterns, strong colours, and geometric shapes, and mixed media. I am inspired to create artworks that explore the geometric structures found in the Natural World and colourful patterns and symbols in the iconography from ancestral and world cultures. I enjoy travel and have been inspired to create work after reflecting/ researching on the cultures of .........Artist influences on my practice, include; Paul Klee’s watercolours for their exploration of pattern and shape, Hunterwasswer for his use of structural forms and bold colours, and Joseph Cornell for his 3D assemblages based upon his travels to different cultures.
