About the Artist
Art Saved Me. A few years ago, I took an overdose, then jumped under a train. Since leaving hospital, I have been unable to stop painting. Everybody wants to be seen and heard. The art allows me to try and say what I want to say, in the way I want to say it. Truthfully. The experience of adversity has in some ways, also been an opportunity. It has provided lots of new material. Inevitably some pieces are dark. Others are full of hope and joy. I look at life differently now. This is who I am. This is what I do.
